Time Stood Still

A world heritage site known for preserving a pristine example of a Spanish colonial town...

cobblestone streets and avant-garde architecture...

... and of course... The Zoo!!!

Spooky!

San Cristobal is the patron saint of travelers.
Ironic, since the spookiest mountain I've ever encountered is named after him...

Eerie tree branches above, thick mossy rain forests, fog, and mist... It's encountering your dark side at every turn...

This adventure brings you face to face with your fear!

... and the Montelibano House has it's own story to share... <sinister grin>

Sea of Clouds

Famous for it's Sea of Clouds, magnificent sun rise, dwarf bamboos, burnt montane, grass lands, mossy forest...
This national park is Luzon's highest peak at 2922 meters above sea level... :)

"And it is because they have so much to give and give it so lavishly to those who will wrestle with them that men love the mountains and go back to them again and again. The mountains reserve their choice gifts for those who stand upon their summits.."

It's called the Playground of the Gods...
and my favorite mountain any given day at any given weather...

Relic Hunter

They say the monastery holds the relic of the True Cross of  Jesus...

The place offers a peaceful place for reflection and prayer, it is indeed a journey to solitude with nature... :)

Medieval structures, The 30 foot statue of The Risen Christ and a breathtaking view of Central Luzon are the other highlights... :)

Being a foodie, this restaurant along the way is such a great breather!

Spelunking!

Less than an hour and one hundred pesos away from Baguio... ;)

Being in a cave is like being in a different world... the challenge I guess is surrendering to the unknown... :)

It has it's own unique way of surprising those who dare enter... :)

But this outdoor adventure offers much more than just spelunking... :)

Start off on top of a jeepney for breeze and magnificent view of the mountains!

Wrap everything up with a refreshing dip in this cool river!

Chasing the Sunset

Since the beginning of time, no two sunsets have ever been alike... So look at it!
... joyride after hours, great way to end your week!

Chasing pavements while chasing the sunset... :)

Water Babies!

The perfect weekend getaway for all you water babies!
pools, waves, slides and fish spa! :)

River Cruise

Serenity... a glimpse or what life is like at the river banks... wonderful clouds...
the river and all it's sights and sounds... and it's FREE!!!

If you're from Baguio... 200 pesos lang!!! :)
add a little if you want seafood for lunch! :))

Baguio's Peak!

There are multiple ways to conquer this mountain...
The easiest would be on wheels...and the most challenging I've tried would be an 11 hour climb via Andolor Trail... it's the perfect pre-climb for those who plan to conquer Mt.Pulag via Akiki Killer Trail... :)

Baguio's Peak!
This majestic mountain has it's own share of sea of clouds, rice terraces, burial caves, boulders, volcanic stones, grasslands, a breath taking sunset, and a killer straight ascent!
- it's wise to never underestimate!

"to those who have struggled with them, the mountains reveal beauties that they will not disclose to those who make no effort."

Secret Beach

It's one of those surprisingly amazing and unheard of beaches that would make you wonder why it's not celebrated as much as Boracay or Pagudpod...

Being frugal with almost all of my travels, this beach is definitely a winner with P5 entrance fee!

Saving Starfish!
It is so secret, you share this beach with less than 50 peeps...- Talk about soul searching!
